Army Air Museum, Hampshire

Visit September 2015

The museum is a newish building near Stonehenge at Middle Wallop which is an army air base. It's bigger than you might think and contains a good collection of helicopters, reconnaissance aircraft and gliders. It also has displays of campaigns where army have used their air support and the history from balloons to Apache Helicopters. It's an impressive place, not cheap to enter but worth it.

Quite a few French helicopters. Some British and some American. All used by the British Army.
