Bluebird K7

The Bluebird K7 was built by Samlesbury Engineering Co of Samlesbury near Preston. The company specialised in bus manufacturing but was capable of high quality engineering. The great story of the Donald Campbell speed record attempts is better told on the web site linked below.

There are a couple of museums in the Lake District with full size replicas and displays of Donald Campbell memorabilia. One is at Holker Hall.
